I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Gottwald's passing. I always remember him as a very quiet person, but very pleasant. It's nice to see on his memorial page how his life (and the life of his family) progressed after I moved away from Bigelow Street and started a family of my own.
My sincere condolences to Mrs. Gottwald, Paul, Diane, and the rest of the family. We'll be praying for your comfort as you go through this time of change.
Dear Marilyn & Family,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy at this sad time. Our prayers are with you and your family. Following is a quote I want to share: "Remember me as you pray at night, for this is when you sense me the most--Know that I am, and forever will be, alive, with God, as my host."
When I first joined our metal detecting club, I saw Dave at Glen Oak Park and he took me all over the park to show me which areas were "original/old" so I knew where I could hunt for old stuff. I found a civil war bullet later on and promptly showed him. He took me downstairs to show me his bullets and other nice finds. Always warm. He will be missed.
